India's Military Might on Full Display at Republic Day Parade 2025.

India is set to showcase its growing military power at the Republic Day Parade 2025 on Kartavya Path. This year's event will feature a unique tableau combining all three branches of the Indian Armed Forces under the theme "Empowered and Secure India." Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will be the Chief Guest.
India's Strength Shines in the Global Power Index
Ranked fourth in the Global Power Index India continues to demonstrate its military capabilities through its annual Republic Day parade. This year cutting edge weapon systems like the T-90 Bhishma tank, Nag missile system, BrahMos, Akash weapon system and Pralay will take center stage.
T-90 Bhishma Tank
The T-90 Bhishma a third-generation battle tank derived from the Russian T-90S design has been in use by the Indian Army since 2003. Known for its firepower, it can launch up to 800 shells per minute and is equipped to guide anti-tank missiles.
Nag Missile System
Developed by DRDO the Nag is an anti-tank guided missile designed to destroy enemy tanks. With a range of 500 meters to 10 kilo-meters the Nag missile can precisely target enemies using an advanced imaging infrared seeker. Recent tests in Pokhran have proven its 90% strike accuracy.
BrahMos Missile
Jointly developed by India and Russia, the BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile with a range of 500 km. Capable of being launched from submarines, ships, aircraft and land platforms, it can fire up to eight missiles within 2.5 seconds.
Pinaka Missile System
An indigenous multi-barrel rocket launcher the Pinaka missile system can launch 12 rockets in just 44 seconds targeting ranges from 40 to 75 km. Future plans aim to increase its range to 150 km. Pinaka has already been exported with Armenia being its first international buyer.

Pralay – The Star Attraction
Making its debut at the parade the Pralay missile is a short-range ballistic missile with a range of 150 to 500 km. Capable of carrying payloads between 350 to 700 kg it can deliver high explosives and penetration-type warheads. Designed for quick deployment Pralay will play a key role in securing India's borders with China and Pakistan.
