top-news

India is set to showcase its growing military power at the Republic Day Parade 2025 on Kartavya Path. This year's event will feature a unique tableau combining all three branches of the Indian Armed Forces under the theme "Empowered and Secure India." Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will be the Chief Guest.

India's Strength Shines in the Global Power Index

Ranked fourth in the Global Power Index India continues to demonstrate its military capabilities through its annual Republic Day parade. This year cutting edge weapon systems like the T-90 Bhishma tank, Nag missile system, BrahMos, Akash weapon system and Pralay will take center stage.

T-90 Bhishma Tank

The T-90 Bhishma a third-generation battle tank derived from the Russian T-90S design has been in use by the Indian Army since 2003. Known for its firepower, it can launch up to 800 shells per minute and is equipped to guide anti-tank missiles.

Nag Missile System

Developed by DRDO the Nag is an anti-tank guided missile designed to destroy enemy tanks. With a range of 500 meters to 10 kilo-meters the Nag missile can precisely target enemies using an advanced imaging infrared seeker. Recent tests in Pokhran have proven its 90% strike accuracy.

BrahMos Missile

Jointly developed by India and Russia, the BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile with a range of 500 km. Capable of being launched from submarines, ships, aircraft and land platforms, it can fire up to eight missiles within 2.5 seconds.

Pinaka Missile System

An indigenous multi-barrel rocket launcher the Pinaka missile system can launch 12 rockets in just 44 seconds targeting ranges from 40 to 75 km. Future plans aim to increase its range to 150 km. Pinaka has already been exported with Armenia being its first international buyer.
