The show ‘Police Files’ on Akash 8 will showcase a dramatised version of the tragic incident where a young doctor was brutally murdered after her shift. The episode is set to air on February 8th a day before the victim’s birthday, as a tribute to her memory.

TV Show to Highlight the Shocking Case

The RG Kar Hospital case which exposed severe lapses in security at government hospitals is now set to be televised. The show will depict how a young doctor was attacked late at night leading to an intense police investigation. The accused, a civic volunteer was eventually arrested and sentenced.

The episode will feature well-known actors

- Subhashree as the victim,

- Ashish Pathak as the victim’s father,

- Reena Mitra as the mother,

- Chandan Bandopadhyay as the accused and

- Rana Roy as the hospital principal.

The episode will be aired on February 8th at 8 PM just a day before February 9th which would have been the victim’s birthday.
