In the Amid rising prices and the economic challenges, two sisters from Shantipur’s Pirer Haat in Nadia district have been captured thousands of hearts by selling tasty snacks like Singaras, Chop and also Fuluries at just 1 rupees at all. There are running just a small shop in their locality.

In this generation when 1 rupees can’t buy anything expect chocolates and hajmolas, There are the two sisters, Nilima Das and Archana Das have kept alive our tradition of selling affordable snacks. Their tiny stall at their locality Pirer Haat offers crispy delights snacks that draw new customers from far and wide regularly. The shop they running it has been passed down through generations and the two sisters continues to uphold the stalls legacy of simplicity and good service service. 

Few years ago, this was the same shop where sold sweets for just 1 rupees at all. Although times have been changed this is an advance generation but the Nadia sisters still maintain their snacks price and kept their promise of providing snacks at a price that anyone can afford. Deferent from modern foods, their shop operates without a single employees, as hiring even one worker would be unaffordable in today’s market. 

Nilima and Archana run the shop entirely with their own. She has no members left in their family to help them into work, they work tirelessly to keep their small business alive. Even with the soaring costs of ingredients, they were continue to sell snacks in just 1 rupees and managing to bring smiles to their thousands of customer’s faces. Their Customers appreciate them not because the low price but also the snakes quality and taste, which have remained consistent over the years.
