West Bengal is gearing up for two days of turbulent weather, with heavy rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds up to 60 kmph expected across multiple districts. From South 24 Parganas to Purulia, residents are warned of possible hailstorms and lightning, especially on Thursday and Friday. North Bengal will also see showers, while Kolkata braces for afternoon downpours.

·      Affected Districts: South 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, Jhargram, Purulia, Bankura, North 24 Parganas, Nadia, Murshidabad, Birbhum and East-West Bardhaman are on high alert.
