Passengers Face Difficulties
Many daily commuters are expressing frustration over the train cancellations. While Sundays usually see fewer trains some travellers still need to commute for work. Women passengers are particularly concerned as fewer trains on Sundays already result in overcrowding in women's compartments. They fear that the additional cancellations will make travel even more difficult.
A regular commuter said, “There are already fewer trains on this route and cancellations will cause unnecessary trouble. Authorities should consider increasing train frequency.”
Passengers traveling on the Howrah - Tarakeswar route should plan their journeys accordingly. It is advisable to check train schedules and consider alternative transportation. The railway authorities have urged passengers to stay informed and cooperate during the repair work.
