In Purba Bardhaman district's village Kalna fears of ghosts took over after the mysterious deaths of four people in quick succession. Families locked themselves indoors after sundown terrified of strange noises and shadowy figures. However the truth uncovered by a dedicated investigative team, the “Detectives of Supernatural”, revealed a completely different story.

The Start of the Ghost Scare

The scare began when four peoples passed away within a short period. Rumours spread that their spirits roamed the village causing eerie disturbances. Villagers reported hearing knocks on doors at night and even claimed to have seen shadowy figures. Fear gripped the community as dusk fell, leaving people too scared to venture out.

Enter the Ghostbusters

To uncover the truth of the ghost a team of paranormal investigators the “Detectives of Supernatural” stepped in. Led by founder Debraj Sanyal the team included Ishita Das Sanyal, Anirban Das, Ayush Majumdar, Somanjan Mukhopadhyay and Raj Simlai. They visited the Kalna's village spoke to locals and began their investigation into the alleged hauntings.

Unmasking the Truth

The team quickly realised that something didn’t happen like ghost and all. Using scientific methods and logical reasoning they was discovered that the incidents were part of a planned hoax. Their investigation revealed that some individuals were deliberately creating the disturbances to spread fear. Further digging showed that such rumours had surfaced in the area before often linked to disputes over land or local politics.

Why Spread Ghost Rumours.?

According to the “Detectives of Supernatural”, these rumours were a tactic to distract or scare villagers for personal gain, such as land acquisition or settling disputes. The eerie sounds and shadows were orchestrated to keep people fearful and confused.

Restoring Peace in the Village

After their investigation the team debunked the ghostly myths and reassured the villagers. Debraj Sanyal stated, “We have once again shown that uncovering the truth behind fear is our primary mission. By applying scientific thinking and thorough investigation we resolved the mystery and brought peace back to the community.”
