The Modi government has relaunched the “PM Internship Scheme 2025” offering students a chance to earn Rs 5000 per month while gaining professional experience. The second round of this initiative aims to help young professionals develop industry-relevant skills. Interested candidates must apply before March 12th, 2025 to secure their spot.

Massive Response to PM Internship Scheme

The first round received an overwhelming response with over 6 lakh applications submitted. Due to its success the government has now opened 1 lakh+ internship positions across various industries such as,

✔️ Oil & Gas

✔️ Banking

✔️ Hospitality

✔️ Automotive

✔️ Manufacturing

✔️ FMCG

Interns will work for 12 months gaining hands-on experience and receiving a monthly stipend of Rs 5000 along with a one-time allowance of Rs 6000 for expenses.

Boosting Employment & Skill Development

This scheme is a major step towards enhancing youth employability with participation from 300+ top companies across 730 districts in India. Applicants can choose their preferred sector and location based on their interests and skills. Each candidate can apply for up to 3 internships before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria for PM Internship 2025

To qualify for the scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria,

❌ Full-time employees are NOT eligible.

❌ Annual family income must be below Rs 8 lakh.

❌ Government employees cannot apply.

✔️ Age: 21-24 years

✔️ Open for students and freshers looking for experience.
