A shocking case of exam malpractice has surfaced in Jharkhand where Class 10 Hindi and Science question papers were leaked before the exams. Reports suggest that students could buy these papers for just Rs 350 through WhatsApp groups. Following the controversy the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has cancelled both exams leading to massive uproar among students and parents.

How the Paper Leak Happened

The leaked question papers were allegedly sold through a WhatsApp group. According to reports a person named Prince was collecting payments via QR codes and distributing the question papers in PDF format. Students who paid received a password to access the files.

Widespread Impact

The first reports of the leak came from Koderma and Giridih districts but soon the papers spread to Palamu and Ranchi. The leaked questions matched exactly with the ones given in the actual exam leading to an immediate investigation.

Student Leaders Demand Action

Student leader Devendra Mahato met with JAC Secretary Jayant Mishra submitting a formal complaint and demanding strict action against those responsible. However the JAC initially dismissed the claims as misleading.

Government's Response

As the controversy grew the Jharkhand state government intervened. The Chief Secretary held a high-level meeting to discuss the issue and JAC announced that a thorough investigation would be conducted to find those responsible for the leak.
