A Really Shameless Incident Happened in Bengaluru....! Young Woman Ends Life After Blackmail Because of her Intimate Videos.

In a heart wrenching incident happened in Bengaluru, a 24 year old woman named whose name was Suhasi Singh an IT professional ended her life after being blackmailed by her uncle Praveen Singh. The accused used her intimate videos to coerce her into maintaining a relationship leading her to take the extreme step at a hotel.
The Incident
Suhasi poured petrol over herself and set herself on fire at a hotel booked by Praveen on ITPL Main Road. Though Praveen attempted to extinguish the flames by using a shower the injuries were severe. She was rushed to Victoria Hospital but succumbed to her burns at 10 PM.
Background
Suhasi lived with her parents and her uncle Praveen in the same house. Over time Praveen manipulated her into a relationship taking advantage of his possession of personal and intimate videos of hers. When Suhasi tried to distance herself from him after developing feelings for someone else Praveen resorted to relentless harassment and blackmail.
Praveen threatened to share her private videos with her parents if she didn’t comply with his demands. Despite her resistance he continued to call and threaten her escalating to the point where he forced her to meet at the hotel.
Police Action
Following her tragic death the Bengaluru police arrested Praveen Singh on charges of abetment to suicide. White-field Division DCP Shivkumar confirmed that the accused used private recordings to blackmail and coerce her into a physical relationship. A case has been filed and investigations are going on.
