Kerala Bus Accident...! 70 Feet Deep Gorge Claimed 4 People Lives, Leaves Many Injured

In a devastating accident happened in today morning, a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation's (KSRTC) bus fell into a 70 feet deep gorge early Monday morning resulting in the death of four passengers and injuries to 32 others. This accident happened around 6:15 AM, sending shockwaves across the state.
What Happened.?
The KSRTC bus part of the Budget Tourism Cell was returning to Mavelikara after a tour. While navigating a sharp turn near Mundakayam, the bus reportedly suffered brake failure causing it to veer off the road and plummet into the gorge.
Casualties and Injuries
Deceased: The victims have been identified as
Arun Hari (55)
Rama Mohan (40)
Sangeet (45) and
Bindu Unnithan (59) all residents of Mavelikara area.
Injured: 31 injured passengers have been admitted to the Mundakayam Medical Trust Hospital while one person critically injured individual has been shifted to Pala's Mar Sleeva Medicity.

Rescue Operations
The rescue mission saw a swift response from the local residents, police and fire and rescue teams. A crane was deployed by retrieve the bus from the gorge ensuring no one was trapped under the debris.
Initial Investigation
According to preliminary reports that the bus lost control due to a brake failure, while negotiating a sharp curve. Officials are investigating further to determine, if any mechanical or operational lapses contributed to the incident.

The accident has raised concerns over the safety and maintenance of public transport vehicles especially those operating in hilly terrains. Authorities have been urged to take immediate action to prevent such an incidents in the future.
