For the office staff or school students, traveller or couple everyone prefer bus in their daily life. Kolkata is one of the biggest city where bus is very easy to travel. After metro regular people choice Kolkata local bus for their regular use to go. Upcoming 2025 Kolkata Transport Department has planning to implement QR codes in their buses for improving for safety of the passengers.

To avoiding road rage and reckless, Transport Association has plan a pilot project according SOP or Standard Operating Protocol. They has plan to implement QR code monitoring system on their buses by the end of 2024. West Bengal Government has already being introduced QR codes on 10 bus routes.

Bus Drivers also support this process, around 56 bus drivers already download this QR code on their cell phone. This application has been developed by the Kolkata Traffic Police Department. And this pilot project has been implement this QR code in all private bused by the upcoming Match 2025. Kolkata transport private and minibus owners association have been also asked to provide all the mobile numbers of their bus drivers on all routes.
