Ultodanga Kolkata: An another horrible fire in the city of joy Kolkata. From the sources at 24th of November Sunday morning a fire broke out In a cotton warehouse near the Ultodanga railway track and the fire spread to the nearest slum, from the report a lot of houses of the slum has been burnt to ashes due to the fire.

6 to 7 Fire engines are reach the spot. The Fire brought under control by the fire fighters in about within an hour. Sujit Bose (Fire Minister) and Shanti Ranjan Kundu (local councillor) went to the spot and talk with the local people.

Local peoples claim that there is a fire from there for a reason and cooking was the main reason behind it. Because of cotton the fire spread in the factory instantly from there the fire spread to the slum. Five fenced house were burnt completely into ashes. Almost seven house were badly damaged in this fire. This slum area between the Ultodanga railway track and ultoganda tram depo.

The fire department has also claimed that the fire spread from the cotton factory were house because of cooking. However, the fire department is investigating whether there was a fire extinguisher system in that factory or not. But the good news is there are no report of casualties and accommodation has been arranged at the local community hall for the people who effected by the local councillor and They have also been assured of building new houses.
