Saudi Arabia has firmly rejected Israeli statements suggesting the displacement of Palestinians from their land. The Kingdom's Foreign Ministry criticized these remarks calling them an attempt to distract from ongoing violence against Palestinians in Gaza. Several Arab nations, including Egypt, Jordan and the UAE have also condemned the statements.
Saudi Arabia’s Strong Response
The Saudi Foreign Ministry denounced the comments made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasizing that they undermine Palestinian rights. The statement highlighted that the Israeli government continues to commit severe injustices including mass displacement and destruction in Gaza.
The ministry expressed appreciation for the solidarity shown by neighbouring Arab countries which have openly rejected Israel's position.
Palestinian Rights Must Be Protected
Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its commitment to the Palestinian cause stating that Palestinians have a historical and legal right to their land. The Kingdom argued that Israel’s rejection of peaceful solutions has led to prolonged suffering violating international laws and human rights principles.
“The Palestinian people are not intruders, they belong to their land,” the statement read. The Kingdom urged the global community to stand against policies that promote displacement and injustice.

Arab Nations Condemn Israel’s Comments
Several Arab states, including Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain, have strongly criticised Israel’s position.
- Egypt called the remarks “irresponsible” and a violation of Saudi sovereignty.
- Jordan labelled them as a breach of international law and a threat to regional stability.
- The UAE rejected the statements as “provocative and unacceptable.”
- Qatar denounced the comments, reaffirming its support for Palestinian rights.
- Bahrain warned that such statements hinder peace efforts in the Middle East.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) also condemned Israel’s stance emphasising the need for a two-state solution based on pre-1967 borders.
Call for Global Action
Saudi Arabia has urged world leaders to take firm action against Israel’s “Extremist Policies.” It reiterated that true peace can only be achieved through negotiations that respect Palestinian sovereignty.
The Kingdom emphasised that stability in the region depends on recognising Palestinian rights and rejecting any plans for forced displacement.
Saudi Arabia backed by multiple Arab nations remains steadfast in opposing Israeli policies that threaten Palestinian land rights. The Kingdom insists that peace is only possible through diplomatic solutions and international cooperation.
