After 15 months of relentless conflict Israel and Hamas have finally agreed to a ceasefire. This historic development, mediated by Egypt, Qatar and the United States includes provisions for prisoner exchanges and humanitarian aid. The Israel Palestine struggle marked by decades of violence and bloodshed escalated again in October 10th of 2023. 4. Humanitarian Access

   - Daily entry of 600 trucks carrying supplies to Gaza will be permitted.

   - Palestinians will be allowed medical treatment outside Gaza.

Challenges and International Role

While Israel has agreed to the terms it has yet to sign a written guarantee. Egypt, Qatar and the United States have pledged to pressure the Israeli government for formal documentation. The next phases will focus on full troop withdrawal and further prisoner exchanges.
