Bhaijaan Delays His Movie ‘Sikandar’ First Look Teaser Release to Honour Dr. Manmohan Singh

The Bollywood Megastar, The Bhaijaan Salman Khan made a heartfelt decision to delay the teaser release of his upcoming action thriller ‘Sikandar’. Initially scheduled for his 59th birthday on December 27, but now the teaser will be release on December 28th at 11:07 AM, as a mark of respect to the former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, who passed away at the age of 92.
Dr. Manmohan Singh who was the former Prime minister of India and one of India’s most respected leaders passed away on yesterday December 26th, 2024 at AIIMS Delhi. His death brought a wave of grief across the country and the world too. In his honour, the government announced a seven day period of national mourning.
Bhaijaan Salman Khan who planned to unveil the teaser of his movie ‘Sikandar’ on his 59th birthday, but he decided to postpone the teaser release. In an official statement the film’s production team shared, “As a tribute to our esteemed former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the release of the ‘Sikandar’ teaser has been rescheduled to December 28th at 11:07 AM.”
About Sikandar
Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘Sikandar’ is an action packed thriller set to hit theatres during upcoming Eid 2025. Salman Khan will be seen in a bold new avatar alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Suniel Shetty. The film also features Sathyaraj as the main antagonist.
In the November 2024 behind the scenes videos from Hyderabad featuring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna went viral creating excitement among to the fans. Despite receiving multiple threats Salman continued filming to proving his dedication to the craft.
On December 25th Salman shared the first look poster of his movie ‘Sikandar on his social media handle. The poster shows him in a black suit holding a menacing weapon exuding power and intensity. The tagline on the poster announced the teaser's new release time building anticipation among fans.
