Amul one of India’s leading dairy brands has announced a Rs 1 price cut per liter on its three main milk variants. This move comes amidst growing competition in the market and aims to provide relief to consumers facing frequent price hikes.

When Will the New Prices Apply.?

Starting this Saturday Amul Gold, Amul Taaza and Amul Tea Special milk packets will be available at reduced prices. This decision was taken by the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF).

Revised Prices for Amul Milk

The price reduction applies to the following variants

- Amul Gold (1L): Now Rs 65 (earlier Rs 66) 

- Amul Tea Special (1L): Now Rs 61 (earlier Rs 62) 

- Amul Taaza (1L): Now Rs 53 (earlier Rs 54) 

This price cut has been introduced due to adequate milk supply in the state’s dairies, allowing cost adjustments to benefit consumers.

Jayen Mehta Managing Director of GCMMF officially announced the price reduction. While the company hasn’t disclosed specific reasons, market experts believe this consumer friendly step will strengthen Amul’s competitive position in the dairy market.
